Andrew, a North Yorkshire farmer, haulier & hardworking business man, bought Breckenbrough Farm, home of Richmond Equestrian Centre, in 2018. Andrew, Abigail, their two children, Lydia & Henry and their menagerie of horses, dogs and cats all live on site in the family farm house. With over 30 years of successful farming and business experience, Andrew plans to take Richmond Equestrian Centre to a 5 star level by renovating and improving the facilities here and introducing his professional and clean cut business approach.
With previous experience in finance and accounts, as well as a customer service and marketing background, Abigail has worked hard to bring the new companies incorporated at Richmond Equestrian Centre up to date and compliant. Abigail manages a lot of behind the scenes work, including PR, marketing and accounts as well as the day to day running of the livery yards, rental properties, arenas and twice annual BE Horse Trials.
Les has been heavily involved in the farming and the building sectors all of his life. Together with Andrew, their hard working and honest work ethos has already made fundamental changes to Richmond Equestrian Centre Livery Yards, Properties & Grounds. Les is a friendly and vital member of the team and is looking forward to renovating the Arena side of the centre, as well as becoming more involved in the competition side of Richmond Equestrian Centre.
