Richmond 2017 Dates:
May 5th 6th 7th, Sept 1st 2nd 3rd 2017

Welcome to Richmond (1) 2017.  We run two highly successful and well-regarded events each year.

Richmond’s four cross-country tracks have been updated and refreshed by our course designer – Jamie Innes.  The new water complex was new last year and was very well received and rode well.  This year there is a new bank for the Novice and Intermediate classes that will further enhance the course.

All the courses are designed to educate and encourage the novice horse and rider.  The show jumping is run on an all-weather surface, please note that studs MUST BE REMOVED for this phase of the competition.

Intermediate and Open Intermediate classes will run on the morning of Friday 5th May, Novice classes will run on Friday and Saturday with an open Novice U18 class on Saturday 6th May.  BE90 will run on Saturday and Sunday and BE100 classes will take place on Friday afternoon and Sunday.

We will be using the same live scoring system at both our events, not only in real time at the events, but via the EventScoresLive.com site, so all your connections can keep track of you in real time.

We are extremely grateful to our army of volunteers without whom it would not be possible to run the events to such a high standard.  We are always looking for people with or without equestrian experience to join our team.  Please get in touch if you feel you can help.

At our September Event we will have An Eventful Life – who will be placing approximately 30 cameras around the cross-country course in order to produce bespoke cross-country videos of your round.  Thanks to their generosity, winners of each section will receive a free video of their round, while all competitors will be able to purchase videos on-line.

Nick Gill will be our on-site photographer and you will be able to purchase photographs on the day of you and your horse in action.

We offer rosettes to 10th place in each class and prize money will be paid via BACS to all prizewinners.  Please note that there is a limited time in which you can return the form to us to claim your prize money.  This, for our May event will be 7th June 2017 and for our September event this will be 3rd October 2017.
